Default Small drum sander for small toy making

I’d a small drum sander similar to this Carbatec one but 1/3 the size for small toy making parts.

Space in my shed is extremely limited! I could have a go at making one but “off the shelf” is my preference.

If anyone has or knows were I can purchase one, please comment or PM or email me, thank you.

    Cheers crowie

    How small is small?

I'm lucky to have the space for a drum sander, but when i needed small strips of wood for a kumiko i came across a planing jig similar to this (Kumiko or “down the rabbit hole!” | Woodworks by John). It'll allow you to get glass like finish if you're using a sharp plane and its also significantly quicker than using a drum sander.

If you're after something wider than a the width of hand plane, i'd be running it through my thicknesser using a sled or similar ( assuming i didn't have access to a drum sander)

Brynes Model Machines in the states make a thickness sander. The only thing against it in my opinion it is not auto fed.

I make toys generally so the machine would hopefully do say 6" wide by 3/4" thick....
