    Default Dump Truck

    Hi All,

    Thought I would post my latest project - measures approx. 43cm (L) x 13cm (W) x 17cm (H)

Was made off a plan I got from Aschi's Workshop - using pine and wheels from WoodenJoys.

Not 100% complete, as it needs to be painted. Still deciding on colours!! (maybe red cabin, light grey tray, dark grey under carriage and metallic silver highlights like exhaust/bumper etc..).

That is one good looking tip-truck, well done as you've done a fine job of it.
It looks good and strong ready for some lucky little bloke to have hours and hours of fun and play.
Bright or traditional colours for the truck will suit; I add a couple of clear gloss pressure pack coats over the top of the colour to protect & give a hard finish.
    Keep up the good work.
    Cheers, crowie

Lovely solid truck,it's a shame to paint them sometimes,I just love the natural wood look.

I didn't make the wheels, I took the easy option and bought them - available for sale at WoodenJoys.

Fantastc job on the truck, Thesmo. I'm another who tends to prefer the natural wood colours, although sometimes the paint really sets them off.

    Hi Damienol

Was sold for $85 - though she was happy to pay up to $100.

The price was calculated based approx on 3 times material costs, which I have used as a rule of thumb in the past for other items.

The dump truck measured approx. 40cm Long x 15cm high x 13cm wide.

Well made and nicely painted. Great sale and well worth what you got for it.
