Finishing baby toys
Hi everyone, looking for some help here, I have made a few small baby rattles with wooden rings which I coloured with food colouring mixed with isopropyl alcohol, left 24 hrs and then gave a light finish of U beauts traditional food safe wax.
well my granddaughter has enjoyed a good chew and suck and the colouring although harmless is “bleding” and giving her blue lips which fortunately just wipes off but is there something which I can use which will seal the colour and still be baby/food safe.
Thanks in advance an apologies if it has already been covered elsewhere.88E29714-D6BC-4673-93F9-248B98C155AD.jpegLast edited by Potts; 1st November 2019 at 07:16 PM. Reason: Incorrect grammar

G'Day Potts, I've used "Raw Natural Coconut Oil" from the supermarket on some teething rattles I made, which was the recommendation I found on the net.
I've also attached a "Food Safe Finishes" document for further reference.
Cheers, crowie
