My first garage
My only grandson turned 3 a couple of weeks ago so when his mother asked for a hand made service station...
I started to realise a few thing along the way. Firstly, designs for little people have to be both safe and very robust and that creates its own set of things to be nutted out & executed. Secondly I discovered that making small things takes nearly as long it full sized furniture.

The look on the little bloke's face was worth it and much more.

G'Day Mick,
What a great garage, you've done a top job.
Love all the extra detail with all the decals.
[were did you get them?]

Thanks fellas. I originally made a "corrugated iron" roof by slicing the back off a plank of merbau decking but it made it too dark inside, so I decided perspex was the go. The decals were all printed from Google Images. Most of it can be copied as a .jpeg and pasted into Word for colour printing.

The Perspex is a great idea, you wont ever be wondering where the hell that one car went!

Thanks guys! I appreciate the kind comments. The Leader of the Opposition has now ordered a dolls house, just in case the next little one is equipped for membership in the International Sisterhood. I'm thinking goal posts and she's thinking netball rings. Gotta love 'em.
