    Default The dome

Next hint: Why is that cabin a dome? Because it should be able to turn...

    Default Patience

Patience is a virtue... But I'll say this will be the most complicated toy I ever made... And you gave me the inspiration, Crowie, wich I took as a challenge...

Its possible the cabin sits on the planetary gear, but to what purpose. Also something is keeping the large gear off the table, but whatever is underneath is not visible.

but what are the plates in the rack doing ...

Can we see a composite pik of all parts separated, not stacked on each other ?

    Default Easter eggs

I've had a lot of fun this weekend with my grandson, so didn't do much work. At five years old the workshop is just too dangerous for him, and he's a little too fast to grab anything he sees! So we sticked to search for chocolate easter eggs...Just closed the back and right side of the cabin and attached a ladder. So the only open section is on the left, where the ladder is... Not without a reason! I found an "easy" way to calculate the cutting angle for the closed section, in stead of trial and error... Photo's of this are attached. Those following: I hope to finish this week, and leave for my cabin in the south of the country, if temperature would rise above 5°C!

Have you ever seen an old motorcycle? Take a look at the engine block, and how it is air-cooled...

Leo .. I think your cheating a bit ... Only showing us the same picture again and again. I know there are subtle clues attached.

In this pic .. it is possible to see the shaft below the cabin .... So this shaft may sit in either the planetary gear or the larger crown gear. It looks to small for the planetary gear ..

So if it sits in the crown gear then the cabin and the planetary gear will be able to rotate around the crown ... or vice versa if it sits in the planetary gear.

Also the pik shows two flanges below the engine ..... So now i have a sorta picture of the rough assembly, from what we have been shown, but no idea what such a machine would do.

And I could of course be totally wrong because there may be quite large parts we haven't seen yet.

    cool bananas ... greg

    Default Sorry

I'm sorry guys, got a little carried away. Had a real bad day, half the wheels went down the bin and I made some last-minute changes. To satisfy everyone I've taken a picture of the whole thing. It's the "Alien 4 Super Grader". The gears are to lift and turn the blade. The domed cabin is the steering wheel, and is connected to the front wheels ( not visible, on the right side). The rear wheels can lift in front or back, the front wheels tilt left or right. The plates behind the cabin are a sort of grill, giving it an organic look. My huble apologies to all those offended by my keeping you on edge.
