    Default Grandad Can you

Most of you have heard those words "granddad can you just make me". Well that is what one of mine said when she wanted a bed for her Barbie doll so off to the shed i goes. With some bits of pine from a headboard of which I had about 8 of from a company that went out of business. I like free wood.
Anyway back to the toy bed the good lady went up to her sowing room and a bed was born. The letter "B" is cut from modelling ply and stained blue with spirit dye and finally 3 coats of Acrylic varnish.

Makes a change to make something for a girl.

Latest request from 11 year old grand-daughter is for a bookcase. It will be from Tassie Oak that I was given a couple of years ago so the only cost will be the finish and it moves some more timber from my garage.

    Thank you all.

Don't you find it great when the young ones ask for things to be made instead of wanting electronic things.
