    Default Grandkids Dolls House

My Grandkids are arriving next week, apparently their mother reminds me that I prommised them a dolls house next time that I see them when they visited a year ago. So being a good Grandad I thought that I had better spend Sunday making a Dolls House.

What I have done is rebated everything so even the back wall slides in to give a nice neat finish. So it is simply painting everything minus the floor and back walls as per the pic, they are painted seperately.

Then it is simply sliding the back walls in and putting the floor on to hold the back walls in place.

I then made and coloured the furniture with my U-Beaut colours that I got off those nice old men from the Brisbane wood show and varnished the front stairs, then put them in place to ensure everything looked okay.

Finally the trim goes on the windows and the front.

How did the kids like the doll's house? Did you get a great reaction when they saw it?
