You know how to make someone drool! that's exactly what I'm after.
Did a search.... seems the only available copies are located in Britain... that makes them a bit pricy ones you add shipping....
Will check our library system and see if it's anywhere in Australia...... but last time I asked they told me if it's outside of our own system it can cost up to $!4 just to borrow it! grrrrrrrr
Thanks for the information

just tried the other book searches and the libray one.... books only available in a NZ library..... There are a few places in the US, but don't think they'd borrow one out to us here! lol
I'll keep looking...

Abe Books has a few results for it:

Looked at the rates for a couple of them, and I reckon you could get it landed here for less than $30 if you're not fussy about condition.

don't care about condition, after all it is to be used, but $30 bucks is still a bit high .... got to add credit card cross border fee too.... really don't like using credit card overseas, too hard to fix if things go wrong.

*shrug* May turn out to be your only option though...one of the Abe Books results came in at $US17 shipped, so ~ $A21 and they take Paypal as well as CCs. I've ordered obscure books from UK sellers through Abe before and had zero problems.
Slightly OT...found another book by Arthur Horth:

Wartime brought with it many problems for the housewife to solve and this book presents great nuggets of advice for the blitz- weary householder. Includes such gems as how to knit for the troops and make cases for gas masks.

You can never be too prepared, mate. Alert, not alarmed, remember?
