Leaving on a jet plane
After my 2 year old grand daughter, who lives near Adelaide Airport and loves watching the planes take off, played with one of the Spitfire planes (as in my previous thread), she wanted a plane that looked more like the ones she sees flying near her house. Here's my version. She was excited when she saw it in progress.

Length is 320mm, with a 310mm wingspan. Material is Meranti. The fuselage is 42mm square, turned on the lathe to round off the corners but leaving flat sections.
When SWMBO saw it, she commented that I should put a mouth in the front as the two front windows look like eyes above the nose.
