There weren't many 5 cylinder RADIAL engines around in 1910 as most engines were ROTARY? This could be a Viale 30hp used in the Sopwith Tabloid ( predecessor of Sopwith's Baby, Camel and Snipe) but the latter all had BIG Bentley ROTARIES.
LUCKILY no-one has tried to put a rotary on a motorbike!
flettya rock is an obsolete tool ......... until you don’t have a hammer!

Yes I'm still here even if I am being a little on the quiet side (hard to imagine isn't it).
I've pretty much got all of the clean up done.
Down side got a damn sore shoulder out of it.
But never mind I've got a couple of big weeks ahead.
First down to Melbourne with the Indian and then if I'm up to it, straight up to Sydney for the T&WWW show.
That should keep me on my toes.
I've finished the blueprint of the 1924 J.A.P engine I was working on.
It come up pretty good I reckon.
It's low res but gives an idea of how it's come out.
I'm putting it down as research for the Brough!.
Actually it's well worth it apart from ending up with something that looks good.
I'm learning a ton about the engines at the same time.
So much so I've started another one.
This time it's an earlier 1912 version of the V twin.
Once I'm back from my travels I should have some time to put into the Harley.
That is if I can find it in amongst all of the boxes of stuff that's been packed up!.
Cheers
Trev.
