Marionette Puppet for Gymnastic display team preformance in Sydney
I had a request from my wife to make two Marionette Puppet for there Gymnastic display team preformance in Cronulla, Sydney.
The Springwood Boys & Girls Club are fielding a squad of 21 gymnastics in the Gym 4 Life Challenge over 5 days this coming weekend.
The team has been practicing since May every Saturday afternoon preparing 2 routines.
My wife is head/senior coach plus she has made most of the 42 costumes with the able assistance of our eldest daughter Leanne who has prepared most of the routine & music.
I normally attend the proformances doing the video work.
This time I got to make 2 marionette puppets which are props in one of the displays, photos attached.
They only took 1.5hrs to make but an hour to string.
Tracey of course dressed them for the display.
Have a look on the internet under Gym 4 Life Challenge at Cronulla.
Cheers, crowie

Thank you all.
It was a very busy 5 days with teams from Queensland, Victoria, South Australia, a heap from all over New South wales plus 2 from New Zealand, a Denmark team, a Germany team & a Japanese team; some 600 + participating.
But the best news is the the Springwood Boys & Girls Club Display Team won a "Gold Medal" in the "Gym 4 Life" challenge.
All worth while; but now some gardening then back in the shed.
Cheers, crowie
