Default Mark I Steam Train Plans

    Hello Guys,

I found a plan for a train I sketched last year and thought you guys might like it. Its the first wooden toy I made. I just noticed there are some pieces I never put on. Hopefully you can read my chicken scratch.

    Later,
    Bret

    G'Day Bret,
If that was you first effort - WOW!
One can see that even back then you are a very talented toymaker/craftsman.
Thank you for sharing the plans.
    Cheers, Crowie

Excellent work. Looking at the front of the engine and the wheels and the axle pegs makes me think that you may have got them from a Woodcraft store.

I purchased some a few years back on a whim to build up an order. I like the methodical way you drew up the plans. I would never had done that at my first attempt as I thought it was an unnecessary waste of time, hence all the stuff ups and frustration.

Now, I treat this toy making a bit more serious and as a result am getting more satisfaction plus some results to say " Don't cut corners. "

Nice work. I reckon there will be quite a few of those chuffing around in the very near future.
    Reality is no background music.
