Just a question please!!
Just a question please ladies & gents!!
Looking at the front of the crane with the four [4] headlights; DO I NEED TO ADD A GRILL & MAYBE A SMALL BULLBAR??
I think it needs something, maybe an extra little light like the taillights??
SOMETHING??
I'd appreciate some thoughts, suggestions and ideas...thank you...maybe even a sketch if you could, ta!!
Cheers, crowie

A horizontal bull bar under the cab would look neat plus you could hook the riggin to it while it is driving.

A mornings work - shed time and toymaking - got to love it....
A mornings work - shed time and toymaking - got to love it....
I've spent the morning, even working through morning tea to do a bullbar with a grill behind it....
It was quite fiddly working out sizes and positioning, it has to strong enough for little boys to play with it, but look okay....
I found some 2mm round tooth-picks in the kitchen cupboard to connect the top rail to the bumper....
Very tricky getting it all lined up & drilling holes....
I think it turned out reasonable...
Now it's feet up time....

Handy is doing a great job, but why O why was he not in #32.
You can just see his saw in the second photo, but not a sniff of him in the first.
And worse no one seemed to care!
Yes that's right I'm a grown man admitting I look to find a plastic Smurf
before I look at the real work!
Mind you the real work is looking great mate.
The front ends looks really nice.
But lets not neglect the little blue fella.
He deserves his full 15 minutes!

My fault, I cropped him out!!
My fault, I cropped him out for the close up of the front....
The full photos are in post #30.....
I hadn't even realized I'd done it BUT now I'm in a whole heap of trouble with Handy and he too has threatened to go to the "Smirf Union".
Now I'm on notice...Thank you Trevor and Ray for all this grief from someone I thought was a good little mate.
Cheers crowie...
