    Default Even you model makers might find this useful

    Me again, This is an old three wheel band saw that was useless as a band saw because the tight angles broke the blades, but great as a sander. I bolted a 12mm bit of flat steel to the blade guides and got some 12mm wide 100 grit belts made. It makes a great sander as it has a large flat area for sanding and a 350mm deep throat and 120mm height clearance makes it good for sanding all those big and small pieces. Photos att. I hope.

    Brilliant idea, thanks! I was thinking about making something similar from scratch, this could save me a lot of effort. My 2 wheel small bandsaw is functional, so probably I will just clamp to the table a back support like the one you bolted.
