Model A Roadster
I recently bought a set of plans for a Model A Roaster from D. B. Gatto in the USA.
Having never made this particular car before and the supplier not offering an email address I have a question regarding the wheels photos of which are attached.
He states: Inner wheel rim A. following Fig. 13; layout radii. drill 1 1/2" centers then cut out part.
For the tyres which is shown in Fig 18.
Drill 1 3/4" centre (with circle cutter); then cut outside away
So is he saying use a circle cutter or would it all be done on a lathe? I'm just not clear how one would do it?
Those of you far more proficient than me I'd value your perspective.....thanks!

Crowie many thank for these. They proved useful and I'm certain saved some false starts had I not seen them.
Thanks for your generous time. I'll post some photos as I get further along the roadster journey......
Cheers Kerry
