Dalboy you have to remember that the wagon WIP is a priority, for us oldy's ,time is pressing forget the tool shed and persevere with the wagon, I just can't wait sitting that long, time is running out
just don't let the excitement of the build fade from the memory,I am Joking just a little, you are doing a brilliant job and I wont to see the finished wagon as others do ,keep up the good work and just hurry up.Eddie

I have managed to squeeze in a little work on the waggon the two side panels glued up and the front panel which needed a little work. Next a couple of notches to cut out on the side panels for the head panel cross member to fit into

This is a tease had a lump of yew cored out by my mate you can see the diameter of the large bowl and it is 4 3/4" deep on the outside and still have enough for another 5 sets like this still in log form. But then you have some fantastic burrs over there

Gee, I will have to get better glasses first look I thought you were cutting out wheels!! but they are very nice bowls never the less.
Eddie
Ps just a thought ,the wood you are using looks to good to paint ,and I think it would look really good in its natural timber,I did paint mine years ago but it was mostly done in a variety.of ash timber, and was not looking at all as good as your's, but its your wagon and they were usually painted .Last edited by TKO; 29th April 2019 at 01:14 PM. Sorry guys but the waggon has been put to the side for the moment once again. I have manage a couple of turned bits but mainly been trying to sort the garden out which is taking much longer that it use to due to my health issues. On top of that I was digging yesterday and done something to my leg which now is very painful to walk on as well as having some minor angina problems.
However even though the garden is not yet finished it is looking much better than it did.
Three largish flower beds weeded and dug over glass in the greenhouse repaired all veg now planted out and growing nicely.
I will get back to the waggon honestly folks.
