Well, I think the truck part is finished.
I'm please with the look with the extra boggy plus the rear bumper bar.
The should take lest time to complete, here's hoping no more mishaps.
    Cheers, crowie

Again Crowie well done! The finished product is a great result - a excellent interpretation on the original plan and great mix of timber species.

BTW - what finish did you use?

    Thank you Ray,
I have just used Pressure Pack clear gloss [thinners based] and put 2-3 coats.
I've seen them for about $3 to $4 at the cheap shops, I got mine through the Penrith Hudsons were I have purchased a bit over the years.

Looks great Crowie. I like the rear bumper you added. It makes it more of a model instead of a toy.

Thanks Bret, A little ways to go yet.
As far as something to haul; I was thinking of making a "Motor Grader" from a magazine which a good mate gave me.
I had ordered and received the "hardware kit".

Um ... Excuse me guys .... Is this just a bloke thing, or can us "shelias" get us a pattern for this truck. I luv it, so will my grandkids. LOL

If it's not against "bloke" rules, could u please tell this ole sheila where I get the pattern,or have I missed post where It was displayed.
Please excuse me for dropping in on this conversation, once I have a reply, I'll get back into my shed where I belong. LOL

Someone is in trouble. Leaving the door unlocked on the cage,Ehh I mean shed.Anyhow it looks like you go back yourself so that is OK.
Crowie will show up later. It looks like it came out of a Wood Toy Book going by Crowies pics. Maybe send Crowie a PM and he may tell you the books name etc.

    There's always room in the shed for a good looking "shelias";
especially one who knows the tools and can make some toys [lol].
Sorry & apologies "dingobeat", couldn't resist.
When my girls were little they had their own homemade carry-all with tools; put them in good stead for later life.

    Anyways, back on track.

The book is call "Great Book of Wooden Toys" by Norm Marshall & Bill Jones,

[ame="http://www.amazon.com/Great-Book-Wooden-Easy---Build/dp/1565234316/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1320635101&sr=8-2-fkmr0"]Amazon.com: Great Book of Wooden Toys: More Than 50 Easy-To-Build Projects (American Woodworker) (9781565234314): Norman Marshall: Books[/ame]

I have personalised the truck & trailer so it's not exactly as in the book.
Please make sure you post some photos of your handy work.
    Cheers, crowie
