And I love those little skid-steers. Are they from plans?

You are welcome gladly make copies of this tractor, Adults and children here use to call this machine “Bob Cat”.
I'm very sorry I had no plans, I make it a free hand with a band saw even without marking on the piece of wood. I attach more pictures that describe the details closely.
Two important tips!
1. Place the axes of the wheels as close as possible so that the tractor becomes more irritable and impulsive.
2. The thin arms have to cut wood as strong as an oak, that will prevent twisting and cracking.
The front bucket I'm doing from 3 pieces same making Band Boxes method.
I'll make another one and will take some photos of the steps. Then post them here.

With all this talk of tractor wheels I thought that this may be a good time to try out the method I am going to use to make the wheels for the grader. I have just roughly made a section of one wheel. I made it very quickly and not very accurately just to see if it works. I think it worked out very well but of course I will be much more accurate when I make the actual wheels.
The wheel is made in two halves and the thread spacings marked out. I will make a template, photo copy it make 12 copies and stick them to each half of the wheel.
After marking the tread I set my band saw to forty five degrees and set a fence the correct distance from the blade. This is worked out by taking the radius of the wheel and subtracting half the thickness of the stock. So if you have a wheel four inch dia and half the wheel is five eights of an in thick the fence is set at one and eleven sixteenths of an inch. I hope this makes sense if not please ask and I will try to make myself clearer.
Of course you can only set the band saw to forty five degrees in one direction and you need to cut one half of the wheels forty five degrees the other way. I did this by returning the saw to ninety degrees and setting up a block of wood on the bed of the saw at the correct angle. I am afraid I forgot to take a pic of this before I broke the set up down. I will do a work in progress when I make the grader wheels but this will not be for some time. The first two pics show the set up for the first cuts on the band saw the third shows the finished section clamped in the vice
Cheers Elderly.

Tractor wheels
Elderly--
Was reading about your making the tractor wheels. trying to visualize why this alternate method might work as well and be faster.
Cut the blanks as you wrote. Stack two blanks, hold them together maybe double sided tape or a layer of paper between and some glue. Cut the two blanks as one. Split the blanks apart and flip one over. Seems like it should make the other side with only the one cut.
I do not have a band saw to try this, but in my mind it seems like it should work. Might cut the time in half on making a bunch of wheels.
