    Default Recovery truck

Got asked last week if i could make a recovery truck, it had to feature a flat bed and a car that was "broken down".
After a few sketches i decided i'd make the flat bed so it could be lowered for ease of loading.

    Here are the first pictures:

The space between the guides is 6.5mm

    It works!

    Thanks guys,

Cut the front fenders and started to decide where to place the rear wheels.
Not sure yet if I've to add a second pair of wheels at the back but we'll see.

Here is part of the progress so far:

Started on the car today that is to fit on the truck, nice and simple sporty design:

Back to the truck I decided to fit 2 rear axles, it looks a whole lot better this way I think:

Wow Dirk what a top effort,
You've certainly done a great job on the truck & car...
And so quick; a very cleaver design and a simple build, WELL DONE.
How are you going to finish the truck & car?
Who is going to be the very lucky little person to receive them?
I also see a big forklift in the background [you been hiding that one?]
Anyways, I appreciate your simple, solid toys; they're great.
And from my understand you do all the plans yourself, excellent.
    Cheers, crowie

Now that the car is on the back it brings the model all together. Keep up the good work

    Crowie,

The wheels will be stained dark and the rest treated with oil or child friendly varnish.
There are no plans for most of my toys, just a vague idea in my head, apart from the log loader in the background that is a plan. Ill post a picture later if you want.

    Regards,
    Dirk.
