    Default New rocking horse design WIP

    Work in progress rocking horse, trying out a new design.

    photo 1 shows parts cut out.
    photo 2 using my trusty workmate to hold the leg at the correct angle to attach to the body.
    photo 3 holding the horse upside down in the workmate to clamp the body parts together.

    Will add this to my small collection of rocking horse plans

    Default finished at last

    Photo of finished rocking horse, with a coat of varnish and red paint for the seat. My wife Sheila was kind enough to paint the eyes.

    All 19mm pine, and the legs from recycled furniture, 85x38

    Also a photo of my able assistant and constant companion Tammy.
