    G'Day "srulik",
I got this one from a magazine a mate sent me, it may suit.

Timing belts would provide the best appearance; turn inside-out so the bumps are outside. Might be available at an office equipment repair service. Google [timing belts israel] indicates "about 40 companies ..." but I can't read Hebrew.

    Cheers,

    Thank you all!!!
It's a great idea to use Reversed Timing Belts as toy caterpillars....:
I'll go Today to place where the recycling electronic equipment and I will pickup from the garbage a few old printers belts.
I hope that I will manage how to cut and glue them to desired length.
    Thanks Crowie for nice plan!!!

Here's an Aussie Toymaking site that might be of use to you,- The site owner, ( Peter Aschibrenner ), has designed a Cat Crawler complete with realistic Crawler tracks, and best of all the Work Plan is downloadable direct from the site for the payment of a few Aussie Dollars. Peter has heaps of realistic Wooden Model plans on his site;-
www.Aschisworkshop.com All of his plans are designed to be made by the average home or amateur woodworker too, which helps heaps.
