    Default What did Santa Bring You?

    Well Santa was really good to me this year. Here is what I got for the shop and making toys:

    A new Grizzly 4 jaw chuck and a set of pin jaws to go with it.

    Lathe Tools Mini Set

    Full size set
    Attachment 192405

    Anti-Fatigue Mats
    Attachment 192406

    And the big one a new Dewalt 12" Miter saw. I am going to have to build a new bench for it it won't fit where my Ryobi is.

    Look forward to seeing what everyone else got.

    Wow and wow Bret,
    And Scotty too.....
    You blokes did extra well especially Bret;
    you must have been very good boys throughout the year.
    I got a "tresle ladder" to help paint the lounge room [which is being done now]; a couple of autobiographies; a few packs of nuts and some money towards an in-expensive "disc & belt sander".
    Never the less it was very nice to have all my girls here for lunch plus the 2 grandsons;
    family makes everything extra special.
    Cheers, crowie

    PS - We did eat a little too much of the turkey & ham so it's diet today.

    Hey Bret...looks like you'll be lathing away...LOL! Just don't get too sidetracked and neglect the scale modeling!

    For me...I've pretty much been getting my birthday and christmas presents for the last 6 months or so..while overhauling the shop! New dust collector, drill press, lathe, router tabletop & fence, various smaller tools and shop insulated, paneled and painted. I didn't get much to speak of on the day, except for wife did make me some gingerbread cake..which I had requested.. It was great and I'm quite happy..

    And yep..Crowie..it's back to the diet for me too!! Way too much good stuff for the holidays!

    Funny thing, the wife has been bringing garbage bins of that stuff home as Christmas presents for the gardening freaks in the family.
