Been busy at work last couple of weeks so havent had much time to do much , so today just did a bit of tinkering, got the hubcaps mounted and drilled the heads out and played around with the spark plug leads. My mate will be having an open day at his new hotrod shop on 2nd October at Kurnell so ill be taking the rod along to see what sort of response i get from the rod community.

Top stuff Scotty, love your work.

    Two things...
    a) it won't run with that firing order.
    b) the dizzy on a flathead is not in that location...
Too many projects, so little time, even less money!

Definatly wont run with that firing order plus only 4 cylinders at the moment, as for the flathead well its not really a flathead, more of a bigger v8 like in drag cars not sure what they are but seen before.

Had a great day on saturday, there was a great turn up even though weather wasnt the best. My model got a good response from the rodders and the panel beaters that work at the shop. One of the rodders said that if i was going to sell it it would have to be worth a few thousand.
Some of the car were fantastic as you can see by the pics and a couple under way in the shop. The 57 chev was most probally one of the best seen i was told a guy drove it in, in original condition the body was untouched and as straight as what you see it now. The drive train will be latest 6.4 ltr chev. It will of had $120,000 spent on it when finished. The brass screen in the last photo is the last one in avaliable a guy in canda use to make them. The owner paid $1500 for it, a guy said to him he will give him $3000 for it then another guy offered $6000 but he wouldnt sell it. To me it really adds a great look to the car.
