For a little more realism, you could get a few of those cheap Matchbox/Hot Wheels knock off's and then help the little one mash 'em with a hammer...
Not only does it appeal to one's destructive nature, and a great Father/Son bonding session, but it rids the world of a couple of the cheap knock-off's.
