    Appearance wise, looks good but as you say, the downside is wheels not turning. Depends on what the toy is going to be used for, a toy or a model. If a toy for kids, I think they (kids) expect things to "work" but if on the other hand is aimed at being something we sit back and admire, then it would be fine.
    Must say I like the overall appearance. Look forward to seeing more as you progress with this one. Good work.
    Reality is no background music.

    Another top toy Fozzy,
    Without plans again??
    My only suggestion if you want it to be movable is that you'll have to get a wide silicone band to act as a drive track;
    though it really wouldn't look like a crawler track.
    Kids would still be happy with such a great looking working toy truck.

    Default Moving Tracks for Snow Tractor

    Hi guys,- There's a Toymaker / designer up Brisbane way, who, ( amongst other things ), has come up with a simple design for a Crawler Track that actually works,- and has the plan available for anyone who wishes to buy it direct from his website.
    Although designed for his Cat Crawler, - the basic design is adaptable to anything else that has Crawler Tracks. Got his website here on one of my numerous pieces of paper somewhere in my, " jungle," of stuff round this computer of mine. His name is, Peter. Can't pronounce the rest, let alone spell it as it is an European Surname. Found the right piece of paper for once, First try too, without tipping everything everywhere !!!! - Here it is;- Aschisworkshop.com He sells all sorts of interesting models for kids of all ages to make.
    Hope this bit of info will help solve your problem,
    Roger

    At the end of the page there are links to the rest of his site. He has some truly amazing wood machinery. Mathias is somewhat of a legend in woodworking circles over here. I believe he is an engineer.
