That's looks great. I love the sprints. My cousin is actually pretty big in the sprint world. He races over in the states and is good mate with Steve Kinser

G'Day "ADANAC",
You may be having some difficulty with "FRED" the "flipping ridiculous electronic devices";
BUT you surely know your way around the toymaking woodwork shop and the shed.
That's a great toy, well done.
Enjoy & keep up the good work on the toys.
Looking forward to seeing your next project.
Cheers, crowie

Good control to get them that accurate on a band saw.
I thought maybe a lathe and then a bandsaw for across but the ones around the wheel need great control.
Well done, I'll try it but doubt I'll get them that consistent.

Its not that rough, You'll start wanting really nice expensive timber soon.
And it will be worth it I guess, they will just look that extra bit special.

It looks pretty dran good to me.
Start searching for a good secondhand timber yard for some very good old timber.
One way to save money of very nice expensive timbers.
Also start asking around the local builder who do work in hardwoods as another source.
Start clearing a big shelf or three in the shed for the collection.
Cheers, crowie

second hand men, good idea.
You get into the trap of paying lots because you want jarrah and qld maple and ebony. Then they start to get expensive.
