Steam roller toy - quickneasy
hi, the latest toy steamroller design. Trying to make it as simple as possible, as well as robust. the wheels are 60mm diameter. The 'roller' is 4 wheels stacked together.
Overall dimensions about 200mm long, 120 wide and 110 high.
Included a pdf copy of the parts, but changed the cab structure from a solid (laminated) block with a 25mm hole drilled through to a *parasol* mounted on four 6mm dowels.
Axles are 10mm dowels, think I should change the 6mm dowels to 8mm. The roof is made from 12mm thick internal cladding. No screws used at all at all.
Made from 19mm scraps of pine.Free toy plans from http://www.woodworkingdownunder.com/free_wooden_toy_plans.html

G'Day Tony,
Another BIG "WELL DONE"; what a great toy.
Thank you for the "How To" as well.
Very many happy hours of play for some little people there.
Cheers, crowie

Another use for the steamroller?
Thanks Crowie, can alway rely on you to say nice things.
Thought of another use for the toy steamroller - as a back massager, maybe with a few wooden "bumps" on the roller.Free toy plans from http://www.woodworkingdownunder.com/free_wooden_toy_plans.html
