    Default Stuffers galore.

When I have lots of scraps and short ends I try and use them up making stocking stuffers, these are the latest lot which I finished today.

    Nice work.
    Those trucks are great!
As I’m just starting in this area I’d appreciate knowing what sort of paint you use?

Hi Lappa, I use the Ubeaut wood dyes and a beeswax finish, those colours are from memory one drop of dye to one ml of water and a 10ml mix did 7 buggies.

peace and solitude in the shed, I live in a house hold with three females and the two more arrive at least three days a week and bring their dog which is female as well, but the dog is the only one that doesn’t talk back to me!

After reading your last post no wonder you have made a load of wonderful stocking fillers. Great job and stay clear of the females

Looks like a few people have got the Christmas toy bug which is great to see. Top job on these as they may look simple but still take a reasonable amount of time to complete. Good idea doing them in batches.
Might have to invest in some of the Ubeaut dyes. I assume it is quite easy to apply compared to paint.

Hi Dallas, I just apply it with a 1/2” artists paint brush, if you want too see what it’s like whack a couple of drops of food colouring into some water and brush it on.
