Super Dozer - working tracks
A while back someone talked about working tracks. I just checked Aschi's Workshop and he's got a new super dozer with working tracks... all of his plans are very simple, nothing complicated. They are to scale, but are not intricate models.
Just have a look at www.aschisworkshop.com

would have liked to have a look, but how do you find your post? It's not in the toy section... unless of course I'm blind ( been told that before! lol)

weeeelllllllll......... I looked for a NEW entry.... you know... nice bold lettering? Didn't scroll down that far.....
Your link didn't work tho... said page cannot be found...
Anyway... yes of course those tracks are superior.... but that's like comparing apples and oranges. Aschi's is making plans the average/novice woodworker can manage. Not everyone is capable of the fine woodwork Billy is doing. I found most model plans are too involved for someone who wants to just make a quick toy, most are downright scary for beginners and require tools they don't have. So I find it really good to know there are easy to do plans available, something anyone can do.
As for my scrolling days.... na... just took a 4 week break, strangely enough didn't even have any withdrawal symptoms, but was good to get right back into it now.

Hi Aussie, yep, link works for me.
No more intricate stuff like tracks for me! Have started on 1/6th scale hotrod, roughly a '32 ford roadster, have made chassis in oak, body is maple type stuff, wheels are jarrah, engine oregon. Will put pics up soon.I want to get a model done in less time than the dozer, then I can start on a strip plank canoe, ready in time for summer. And make some headway on '50's garage diarama in a glass top and side coffee table.Plastic 1/24th scale models, etc. Cheers, billy
