    Default Thanks for the inspiration

At this time of year I am looking for ideas for items to make to give to charity at Christmas, so that those who are less fortunate can have a bit of enjoyment at that time. I keep my eye out during the year for toys that are not too complicated and time consuming as that allows for more to be made. Every now and again toys get posted on here that fit that category. If I contact the maker for information on their build, it is always freely given and usually more. It is with this in mind that I would like to thank Crowie and Ruddy for the items they posted recently which planted the seed for the items below (I'm sure those regulars will know which is which).
I was not going to post a thread as I thought that the original poster should have nothing taken away from them, but Crowie insisted that I should.
These are the start of what should be quite a few more by the time Christmas comes around. There are only 3 Owls at the moment, but there are another 3 just hatching in the sun. The periscopes came from another internet site here.
So if you do make something and think that no one will be interested in it, post it, as it could be inspiration for someone else.

Wel done Dallas...the kids will appreciate receiving hand made toys.
And my head I'd be a scratchin'
While my thoughts were busy hatchin'
If I only had a brain.
