Default Its that time of the year again

It’s been a while since I have completed any projects and the road grader still hangs there waiting to be finished... But I have been busy between trips away, and family matters.
Each year for the last ten or so years I have made these little cars and trucks they have become very popular with some of the other toy makers Crowie in particular who does a fabulous job on them, I did ask him once while he was visiting if he was in fact the real Norm Marshall he just ignored me I think he has got use to my humour.. Good on you Pete
Back to the cars & trucks they were going to South Africa but the people said if they were to send them they would never get to the children and would be sold at markets
I have been told that to make sure that they get where they are supposed to they have to be almost hand delivered to the children
I am very disappointed with the fact that it is not recommended to send my cars and trucks on to there
I will still put them through the Men’s Shed but at this point it is now a bit up in the air as to where they best go a decision will be made tomorrow.
For myself I don’t care too much just as long as a child gets one for Christmas and no money is involved.
Just to close off on things….. I am now going to finish the road grader I also feel that is worthwhile mentioning that there are some top plans for cars and trucks here in Australia and I am going to use them next time. I have already built a flatbed semi-trailer from an Australian sight some time ago you see it from time to time in the back ground when I have taken other pictures. Here is another site that has some great plans Wooden Trucks Plans and Patterns for wooden toys Enjoy Making Wooden Toys

I have put some picture up of the cars & trucks they still have to have another coat of shellack

    G'Day Col,
    That's a very fine array of Model T Ford's which you've made.
You've been very productive little elf.
How many in total have you made this time?
I'm assuming the Men's Shed you took me to visit are the ones doing the sending to South Africa; very disappointing if there's no garrantee the children would receive them.
Maybe what Paul said is a good idea; Salvos, Vinnies or even Far West Childrens; any of the Australia based groups.
How's the new shed coming along?
Did you manage to get a new drive belt for the mini lathe?
    Cheers, crowie

Hi all first off I must apologize for not replying to this thread but I have had family commitments over the last week or so…. Any way just to bring you up to date with the cars and trucks they have all gone, some to charity raffle some to the Aunty and Uncles charity for Christmas Presents for the special little people and whatever was left were bought by members of the shed I never bothered to ask about the money or what they paid there a top bunch of men and I am not comfortable with anything to do with the money side of things.
Pete I think that the site you put up was the one I built the flatbed semitrailer from
I have the drive belt for the lathe thanks to your efforts
Thanks for your reply Pac-Man I do some other work with Saint Vinnie’s that cover that area.
One Eye I have had a look at all your toys and models you certainly done a great job with them all
