    Default Anyone made toy FEL/back-hoes?

I'm looking for ideas on how to make a toy Front-end loader/Backhoe for a child around the 4-8yo bracket. So simple & strong are the keywords here! A

I've seen some nice ones that are more models than toys but although I'd like to make one it'd end up being more for me than the kids. Y'know?

    Any suggestions/links/pix?

I don't particularly want plans per se... just something to look at to give me the basic idea of where to start. As usual, once I have a basic idea I'll just wing it...

G'day Skew, do these help you? It should help towards the how's that bit make that bit work kind of thing. You'll notice I still have to solder a piece, but it's on the list of things.
I make things, I just take a long time.

    Thanks, fellas!

An excavator should work quite nicely.
