Another Toy Garage
I've made another Toy Garage.
This one is for the local Boys & Girls Club fund raising, but hopefully I might also get a few orders for them as Christmas presents.
I'd appreciate some feedback on a suggested sell price, thank you,
[I though about $50 would be fair???]
Cheers, crowie

Looks good Peter. I personally know the work that goes into one of these from building one. I would say with all the painting and decorating I would charge $75 to $100.

Given the amount of detail, the labour involved and the fact that it would only ever be a show piece and the subject is probably in a small interest market which means a collector of some kind, I would start at $1000-00, but Im no expert or have any knowledge of this type of thing so t6o put it in the vernacular... buggered if I know......
The person who never made a mistake never made anything

Beautiful piece of work.
The amount of work and detail you have put into it puts my projects to shame.
It is worth a lot more than what someone is prepared to pay but that seems to but the lot of a woodworker. I would think that time wise and materials it should fetch several thousands...BTW, being a bit pedantic here but shouldn't the chimney flue on the roof be on the other side above the internal flue.
Keep up the great work, I wish I had your patience & skill.

G'Day Eddie;
WOW AND WOW..........That wagon looks the real deal in the garden photo.
You have surely put a whole heap of time & effort into the detail.
Sir, you are a master craftsman indeed.
Personally it's PRICELESS, but it'd have to owe you $5000 in time & effort along with the materials.
How about showing the rest of the mob in a new thread as it way surpasses my "toy garage".
Cheers, crowie

Thank you "one & all"
Thank you "one & all" for the encouragement on the garage, they're easy to make and a heap of fun for many years of play.
WOW; a few of you have suggested way higher than I thought; maybe I'll have to rethink the price.
Cheers, crowie

Oh by the way , I think $50 would be a reasonable price for your garage. take a look around the toy shops and you will see you don't get much for that sort of money these days in a quality toy.
Reality is no background music.
