Toy Garage Drawings
Not wanting to hijack mric5180 thread on his garage I thought I would start a new one. Well a little while back I drew this garage. You are most welcome to use modify as you see fit, also sizes are left up to the individual.
Hope someone may find them of use(no construction detail)

Another Toy Garage,- well tested by heaps of kids !!
Here's some photos of a Toy Garage I have successfully made and sold during the past 20 or so years. It is easy to make, using 19mm. timber / chipboard, or MDF for the walls, and 4mm. Ply/MDF for the roof, ramp, and base. Colours can be any combination to suit the make. Labels are simply copied from Auto mags, then printed off as required.
Base measures 600mm.long x 400mm.wide. wall height is 130mm.
** IF anyone seeks an Actual Size Work plan,( Toy Plan ),- I have them available,- but you will have to buy a copy from me, as NOT weathly enough to simply give a copy away.

G'Day Roger,
I've only made and given away a dozen or so.
Similar design to yours though different.
I use 16mm or 19mm chipboard all round for the garage building.
I had used 9mm ply for the roof & ramp then 12mm chipboard for the walls;
but saw my grandsons climbing, stepping and jumping on the garage roof so upped the material sizes.
Better safe than sorry.
Cheers, crowie
PS - Sorry Colbra,
I can't put into the tin, need the funds for fuel to drive to Brisbane to see my mum in a week or so.

To/Colbra
Colbra, Put it this way mate, when you've got about ten grand tired up in woodworking equipment, etc., plus a proper Office A3 Size Photocopier, and specialize in Wooden Toy and Model-toy design of quality, one cannot afford to give things away,- otherwise one's income sorta goes downhill mighty quick !!!
I enjoy design work, and prefer doing everything the old way, as, ( even though I have tried using a CAD program ), I find the CAD system to be totally downright boring,- bit like this computer,- boring after a while. Hand-drawn artwork can become scattered all over my large table without complaining,- try the same on the computer and computer gets upset and confused, then refuses to do what I want it to, so I simply do everything by hand. ALL my designwork is tested in my workshop before sale, then I know it will work. Actually sell quite a lot of Toy Plans in this region every year mostly to retirees who don't like computers, ( or don't like the internet ), Every one of them has always come back and spent more Dollars on more of my Toy Plans, without ever complaining about the price. Some have even spent an entire day with me in my workshop, making a toy for a child / grandchild, thoroughly enjoying themselves in the process, paid me for my time, plus what they made, then come back the following year, and repeated the process, so must be doing something right for some people from somewhere.
** Most of my best customers are Pensioners, as I always give them 10% discount upon presentation of their current Pension / Seniors Concession Card, and they all seem to have 10 - 20 yr. old motor vehicles too. ( those who stop by, driving, "flash," vehicles, never have any money to spend on anything,- strange about that !!! )
**** IF I give one Toy plan away to someone,- word spreads, then everyone else complains about me not being fair to everyone.
