    Well, it's finally finished. I think the 3rd coat was enough. The wheels got a bit darker than the body (which was something i was hoping).

    My grandson says that looks great "pa", It looks like it needs a trailer and without drawing breath "when are you building one for us"....

    For us ''downunder''; it's all about ''HOW EXPENSIVE THE INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING IS'',
    but most times we still come out way ahead of local hardware & tool shop prices....

    Rockler often has some excellent specials and sales, so sign up for there newsletter...

    Turned out great. That will be a cherished toy, I'd bet. O love the pine, always has interesting knots in it. Really adds character.
