    Cool Toy Plane

I've been off work, recovering from surgery for a couple of weeks. I was feeling better today, and my 5 year old son asked if we could go out to the shed and make a toy plane.

Here's the morning's effort, just waiting for a final sand before a paint job.

A 5 year old and a toy plane. Yep, got me too.
Nice work, good to see another young one interested in woodwork.

    Default Thanks!

My son took the toy plane over to show the neighbour's boy today. I've got a great neighbour and his son is a polite little fellow and my son's best mate. I couldn't say "No." when he asked if I would make one for him too. Looks like I'd better make a couple of extras, just in case

Just ensure you show them how to keep the blade sharp to ensure the cut is clear.....
