    Default Toy making vicariously!

Looks like I’m going to be sidelined from the shed and have to get my toy fix vicariously through others. I think I must have crossed a black cat, problems with left hip, bursitis, little relief from a cortisone shot at this stage but improving. Right thigh, abscess deep in the muscle, antibiotics and back to the docs Wednesday for possible surgical intervention. Small pea size lump to half a tennis ball size overnight.
Happy shed time everyone. I can smell the sawdust beckoning.

Hope things return to normal or at least as normal as possible and that you can return to the shed. It can get quite frustrating at times having been in a situation where I could not get into the workshop myself, especially as the mind was fit enough to know what I wanted to do but the body said no.

    G’day Glenn, Bother, that’s a real bummer.
No shedtime, no toymaking, a crying shame to miss out on the relaxation & creativity.
Lets hope with the rest and medical support you have a speedy recovery sir.
    Cheers Peter

Also sorry to hear about such issues.
Many of us have a few "nigglers", unfortunately some more serious than others.
All the best on your road to recovery
    cheers

Had a crack this morning, half and hour and I was done. Oh well, can’t change it, it’s just a waiting game.

Do you have a scrollsaw that you possibly could at least sit down and cut pieces to make something or is sitting in the same place a bind as well

I have nice comfy swivel chair with back rest that I use, I might just have a sit and set up some cutting lists etc to fill in some time. Hopefully a week or two and I’ll be back to it.
