Note there is no seats on the station, No station masters office, toilet, no yellow markings near station edge. No seats cause you don't have long to wait for the next train, No toilet same reason, No yellow markings cause people realise the danger. No station masters office ............to use the microphone to tell you the train ain't coming. Oh no speakers or sign board to tell what train your getting on just pot luck?

The kids did there 2 preformances yesterday with both the one for the South African afternoon and there main one being very well received; they did a magnificent job.
The reward was the applause on the world stage.
Last night we attended a 1.5hr Japanese Evening performance and WOW, the timing & procession was excellent.
Today is rehearsal for tonight Gala event, no rest for the good.
Cheers from one tired toy maker in Finland.

PS - just can't get used to good day light until from 3am to nearly 11pm

Thank you Ray, but if the truth be known, I'm exhausted just keeping up with the kids and all the performances as there are about 8 on at each time slot.

He has not built anything while you have been away as he has not posted anything yet.

I know it can be exhausting but it sounds like one and all are having great fun and enjoying it all. You will soon be back for a rest

Thank Alan, yes it turned out pretty good!!
Last night was the FIG Gala showcasing some of the worlds best display gymnastics in a 2hr performance; spectular to say the least and we scored seating to the right of the VIP's.
The closing ceremony this afternoon at 3pm and we have a sunny summer day.

Here are some photos from out hotel in downtown Helsinki.

    Cheers Peter

And after a week of first class display gymnastics performances from the 21000 to 25000 gymnasts from 50plus countries along with 5000-10000 supporters & audience we have come to an end with today's Closing Ceremony. Just after it finished with had some light rain, all good. The kids have got some food for tea and sent back to the school to pack; we are hoping to have some sightseeing tomorrow as we done fly out until midnight.
Alias I didn't get back to the wooden toy shop I saw from the bus early in the week, we have been nonstop all week.
Thank you one and all for the support, especially those with social media access to give the festival photos & videos "likes". Cheers Peter

PS when I get home with access to my computer I'll post some photos.
