Toyota 4wd
With the village shed still closed and bored my son suggested I make a model of his Toyota Landcruiser . Working on a bench in the garage with just enough tools to get it done . It has solid axles with springs to give the vehicle extra lift. A sketch of how I made the solid axle with each wheel on a separate stub axle. I was given some 12 mm dressed King Billy Pine so that was used as no thicknesser available to machine any other timber.other bits used were red cedar and jelutong. John

Absolutely brilliant! Great detail and the colours look very realistic. Love the way you have done the suspension. What overall length is it?
You have been a busy lad during lockdown.

WOW John, You certainly haven’t lost any of you skills or ability with retirement sir.
That is one gorgeous model for sure.
Love the mix of timbers and the amazing detail, very well done!
Cheers Peter
