Default Just a few new Toys

I thought it was about time I got in and made a few toys.
The Bulldozers are from plans and the rest of the toys are
my plans. I hope they are ok.

They're brilliant Graham. Would you be willing to pass on some painting tips to us who can't come even close to matching your finish.

    Hi chrisb691,

Thanks for the compliment. I paint all my toys by hand with water base gloss paints. To finish them off I spray on a couple of coats of White Knight crystal clear acrylic gloss over the top to protect the paint work. It takes awhile to paint them with a steady hand which I don't have but I do my best. I hope that helps.

    Cheers Graham.

    Hi Peter,

Thanks for the compliment. The bulldozers are 200mmL x 110mmH x 110mmW and the little fire trucks, the tow trucks and vans are 185mmL x 120mmH x 105mm W. The tow hooks are made from steel rods out of an old washing machine. All the toys were made for the markets and the two tow trucks were sold on the first. I have to make some more now other people ask if I had more.

    Cheers Graham.

    Hi P.W.H

Thanks for the compliment. The plans for tracks on the bulldozers is made from a piece timber cut to shape and there is 16 small pieces on each sides and than glued and held down with tape until dried.

    Cheers Graham.

    Hi Keith.

Thanks for the compliment. A couple of mothers already bought the two tow trucks off me the first day I took them to the markets. They were for their kids for Christmas.

    Cheers Graham.
