Toys and Joys?????
Just before Christmas I ordered and paid for some plans. They turned up promptly with a hand written note, "Thank you Jim", written on the invoice. Unfortunately, one of the plans is incorrect, not what I ordered. The invoice lists the two correct plans. I have emailed Toys and Joys three times, to the email address on the invoice and to the email address on their web site, and filled in a "Contact us" form. I have had no response at all.
Does any one know if they are still in business, on holidays or what? Any help or information would be much appreciated.

Might be closed for the holidays still, have a few places around here that are like that. SWMBO can't wait for the art shop to open

i had sent an email asking a question before i ever bought anything ... i have since bought several things from them and generally never had a problem ...
when i did (have a problem) on one order, i emailed without success but a telephone call sorted it in seconds .. i would have to check through records for sure, but i think i was charged 17 cents for the phone call ...
karl was very friendly and apologetic (for the mistake) and rectified without question
that said, i have never had a response to any emails sent either direct to him or to the info@ address ... i would suggest you pick an appropriate time and give them a call

Email can be hit or miss at times. I have had a battle with my provider about an email account that was set up specifically for one task - to receive inquiries associated with magazine articles I had written. I checked that it worked before publication, it worked for a while, I received a couple of emails then it failed. I can send to the address with no bounce back, but I can't have those emails turn up in my Inbox. I have not had any success in having that address restored due to a technical glitch in the way my original account was set up then migrated to another platform by my provider.

I too have been unable to get a reply from them
I placed an order and it promptly showed as " processed "
but no advice of dispatch or tracking , nothing shows under the shipping tab
and they will not answer
Does the website normally show shipping or dispatch info?
How long have other Australian customers taken to recieve their order ?

if you really need to contact then, telephone and they are very responsive ...

Postage from the USA can be as quick as a week or as frustrating as 4 weeks.....

Thanks ; I have purchased from other USA shops before and without exception the updates on dispatch and postage was perfect
BUT when you ordered from this mob did you check their website and get info on when it was posted and a tracking number ( even though USA tracking is not shown after Australia Post gets it )
OR did you get email updates when they posted it ?
OR was there nothing between paying and it being recieved ?
When I click on shipment information it says " No shipments found "

incidentally, something i just thought of regarding the plans, particularly like the one you have chosen ... they are excellent but i generally adapt them and make the panels 3/8 inch instead of 1/4" and reduce thinks like the seats, front panel and boot width accordingly ... when i first did one at 1/4 inch, i found it not robust enough and i could easily accidentally break it ... it is not difficult to adjust
