Default Treasure found in Bunnings rubbish.

I get pallets from Bunnings to make furniture. With them I found a stack of these, all straight. It's nice to have a win sometimes. 6mm, 8mm, 25mm to 40mm.

    Cheers

Straight Timber in the dumpster at Bunnings!.
That explains why I can never find it on the rack.
I've been looking in the wrong place!.

    Cheers

Got to love straight free timber from any source .....

Well done upon reclaiming it from landfill .....

If they are going to through out timber at the very least it should free for firewood and never just binned .....

Sunday is the best day. They have no problems with the pallets but the skip is out of bounds due to public liability. You can, however lean over and grab what you can. I have seen cover sheets of melamine in there that may have a scratch on it.

What a great idea wireline. Do you ever get checked at the gate and have to explain how you have material other than pallets?

No mate, it costs them to get the pallets dumped. They love people like me, lol.

    Default The Rigmarole ??.

    Hi To You All,
Yes, a great place to source Timber.
Yes, you have to see some one, then drive around to the Area of Rubbish, put the Orange Jacket on, watched all the time, Sorry you can't do that ??. Yes, you can have that.

Wanted some 5/8in. Pine 6ft long to make a Duc Board for our New Wood Lathe at our Mens Shed. Not a problem.

Thank You Bunnings, but we do a fair bit for them at times. Flat Packs made into Outdoor Furniture, Children's Outdoor Play Sets built from F/P's & so on.
We get looked after, for our time.
    Regards,
    issatree.
