Some animal money boxes
Here are a bunch of money boxes I have made for Christmas gifts. I drew the shapes onto A4 paper and paste glued it to the wood.
They are finished with a couple of coats of satin PE. I am sure the small phillips head screws will get a good workout! The snake has 4 eyes and the coin slot for the whale is through the water spout.

Another fantastic idea Ruddy and as always well presented.
Did you cut them out with a scroll saw or a bandsaw?Dallas

Hi Dallas
Some of the outside shapes were cut on a bandsaw using a 3 mm blade. All of the centre circles were cut on a scroll saw and then finished on a bobbin sander. The clear acrylic discs were cut using a scroll saw.And my head I'd be a scratchin'
