    Default Two Trucks

The latest two off the line, a lowboy trailer and prime mover just on 520mm long and a Island Cab truck with some steel girders for freight, this one is 400mm long.

G'Day Glenn, That "Island Cab" truck is something special sir.
I'm thinking it's your own clever design and craftsmanship .
    Cheers Peter

Can’t claim all the credit Peter, it’s another Aschis with a couple of minor changes, cab has a little more detail, seat and steering wheel, side pegs and some tail lights plus the steel girders. She’s a heavy ol girl, so should handle the knocks.

Cool, I like the addition of the beams on the steel truck. I made that same model awhile ago for my nephew, might need to make him some steel for it now though…

They are very good looking, do you put on a finish or leave with no finish.

Hello Peter, I put a coat of a mix I make up, 1 beeswax melted into 3 parts mineral oil by weight. This then solidifies and can be brushed or wiped on, leave for 10 minutes and then wipe over with paper towel.
