    Default Vintage Car

    Just finished doing some restoration work on a car I made some years ago from plans in a English woodworking magazine .It was Quite a challenge & took me roughly 1 Year on & off to finish & thought I would share it with you

    Very nice work Peter.

    Do you happen to know the make and model?
    I'd be interested to know the size/scale, too.
    It's a little hard to tell from the pics.

    (This could well have been placed in the 'Scale Modelling' section, imho.)

    Sorry mate seem to have lost the plans,as far as I know it is no specific make or model, the overall dimensions are L:39cm,W:16cm & H:19.5cm to top of roof,Wheel Diameter is 8cm

    Not to worry, I was just wondering if it was a specific make & model. Couldn't recognise it.

    I thought it looked fairly large. 39cm is a decent size. Even has rubber wheels, I notice, or a very good job of simulating rubber.

    Overall, a great looking model, and one to be proud of.

    Yes they are rubber tyres ,made from a fan belt,cheers Peter.

    That's one fine looking model old timer you've restored......you have been hiding your light under a bushel....
    It certainly has good detail and presents, top job.

    Thanks Pete, but I had an ulterior motive - I believe they call it intellectual theft.
    (Stealing ideas for future projects.)
