Nice design alteration. I guess the plans are only there to guide us, and the design of parts is left up to the abilities, experience, and artistic flair of the maker to add their own touches. Looking good.

If its a tractor your building for the 'sem eye' trailer, then I guess you plow the paddocks with a prime mover

All those recent parts have come up a treat. Very realistic.

Hi Treecycycle, yes I made a jig that pivots on a dowel pin and I use carbide end mills to create a poor mans rotory table.
I have a lot of small carbide end mills left over from my machinist days.
cheers, Mc

Thanks Mc, any chance of a photo of your setup. I am always keen to see what others use in the way of jigs.
Very handy having all those end mills to call on.

Hi Treecycle, here's some photos of my jig to machine the circular patterns.
The first photo is the base with hole for the pivot pin.

Photo #2 is the movable jig with pivot pin.

Photo#3/4 is showing the pivot pin and the locating pins for my application.

Photos #5/6/7 are showing locating the layout line for first cut by moving the base then c-clamping in place, then swinging the arc.
I hope this helps
Cheers, Mc
