Hi guys.Just something that makes me feel good, being an old fella and all that.
I have noticed that Started My Car is sitting at 10993 views
I was going to sleep making little boxes.Being interested in cars all my life,I thought I will make a wood car,not one of those blocky onesSomething that looked like a car.I couldnt find any thing I liked in books.I finally found Toys&joys and went from there.
I downgraded my dreams with this first one.
I was thinking of opening doors, bonnet and boot. All that was a bit scarry at the time.
Then I found Waynnicko, who builds the most wonderfull wood models.Wayne doesn't have any fancy gear like I was expecting,Most of it he has made himself.
I then figured I had to ramp up my skill level about 300% or so.Well I am trying, and I hope one day I will get there
I still havent made a model with opening parts yet.I am making samples for practice though.Little wood hinges and glueing them in the right place is a skill on its own PHEW is it what
Thanks to all the guys that have pushed me along,It kept me going Being new to woodwork at the time I thought I am never going to get this finished. As I made the parts I posted them.Every one knew where I was at,mistakes and all.
It scared me so much I never posted a thing on my next model till it was nearly finished
Have a happy xmas guysBack To Car Building & All The Sawdust.
