    Default Wheels

Hi all I am new to toy making and have a question about wheels.I know how to make them but not sure how to
fit fit them to the axles and axle body so they turn and stay in axle housing.I know it sounds a nooby question but
but any help is most welcome. The reason for asking the plans I have seen the axle only goes in a short distance
    and not right through.

    Thankyou
    Peter

    G'Day Peter,
First of all, welcome to the wonderful world of toymaking!
You can use timber axle pegs to just secure the rolling wheel or glue the wheel to a dowel going through the toy.
I hope that makes sense Peter.
    Cheers, Peter

    G’day Peter,
The axle pegs are fitted/glued into the body of the toy into a blind hole.
I add a S/S flat washer between the axle peg head and the wheel plus a nylon flat washer on the inside between the wheel & the toy body.
The hole in the wheel is slightly larger than then the axle peg allowing it to spin freely.
I hope that’s a decent and correct answer to your question
    Cheers Peter
