Thread: Who do I give these to?

Who do I give these to?
I have been playing around trying to upgrade my woodworking skills, making jigs, etc by building these trucks (based on Aschii's plans).
With kids and grandkids all grown up and no young ones in the near neighbourhood, who do I give them to? Is there a charity / hospital / whatever here on the Sunshine Coast that would take them?
I raid the local building site rubbish skips for raw materials and make them for my own amusement so its not costing a lot and I don't want to just dump them or have them gathering dust.

You've done a top job on those two truck "Otak",
If nothing comes of Aussie's lead, I have some old family friends who've lived in maroochydore since the early 1960's and I'd be happy to contact them for an outlet for your trucks.
Please let me know, either "PM" or "email" is good, thank you.
Meantime, keep up the top work on the toys, great photo.
Cheers, crowie

OtakiriLad ,
Excellent job on those toy trucks . If you are giving them away I reckon
a hospital for kids with cancer . They would be over the moon to have great
toys like your's . I donate some of my toys a few years ago to the Bundaberg
hospital for the sick kids . Keep up the great toy making .
Cheers Graham

Many thanks for the suggestions. I like the idea of childrens hospitals or charities so I will follow up on that - Something like the Smith Foundation which seems to have a focus in that area.
Meanwhile back to making wheels (and trying to find a quicker, easier way to do it).

G"Day "Otak",
The letter arrived in this afternoons post....here are the suggestions.
Nambour General Hospital - Childrens ward, Hospital Rd, Nambour....ph# 54706600...
Bloomhill Cancer Help, 58 Ballinger Rd, Buderim... Ph #54455994....
Rotary Club Caloundra, PO Box 44, Caloundra....ph# 54923708....
Lions Club of Maroochydore, North Shore, 23 Pandanus St, Mudjimba, 4564....ph#54506659....
Lions Club of Mooloolaba, PO Box 35, Mooloolaba, 4557....ph# 0459115078...
Plus their's an OP Shop on the Aerodrome Road, maroochydore, who would accept the item to pass onto a child in a needy family....
And of course there is Life Line & Salvos who would do the same.
I hope that's of some help to pass on the toys.
Cheers, crowie
