    Default Winterstop

Hello everybody. Here in Belgium it's winter. Since yesterday the temerature has dropped below zero C, even at noon. It means that I can't heat my workshop to a reasonable working-temperature anymore (energy costs an arm and a leg here). So I quit working and relax at my drawing table. I hope this ends soon, but it will last a week or more... See you all soon in spring!

    Default Hot hot and hotter

Sould split the difference. Its 40c here nearly to hot in the workshop. Anything computer controlled goes on stike over 40c some times I think its the brainy one of us but then I just slap it and turn off its food supply(power) and I am still in control.

Default Still too many bushfires around new south wales

We could sure use some of that cooler weather here.
    No problem with heating.
We are looking at 38deg"c" tomorrow & 42 on Friday after 35 today......
Thank goodness the weekend forecast is back to about 32....
The shed time has been limited but we're better off than some who've lost everything in western New South Wales.

I've seen it on the news here, but I don't know exactly wich region of Australia it is . I hope the weather turns for everybody: a bit less "down under" and a bit more here!

Just come in from the shed for a nice hot cuppa. Not to cold in the shed as I have the heating on plus the lathe running to make some wheels and other bits for the fire engine. Last night everything white from the frost now it is trying to snow very little snow flakes.
Send us some of your heat from down there.
Any way back out to the shed

I think I am right in the middle here in TX. We have had low 20's at night and low 40's during the day with rain and no sunshine for the last several days.

    Default Cold!

Seems we're gonna get another week of temperatures below zero... After that it SHOULD get better... Will anyone please take some of this? I'm allready freezing! Of course not only because of the temperature: my thyroid gland is malfunctioning, that's wy I'm very sensitive for the cold. And no: there's no remedy, except clothing like on the north (or south) pole...
